John Goulding is CEO and co-founder of Workvivo. John was previously CEO of CoreHR, a global leader in the HR tech space, and Senior Director of Global Support in EMC (now Dell EMC).

John and his co-founder Joe Lennon founded Workvivo in 2017 to address the increasing problem of employee disengagement globally. Workvivo clients around the world see increases in staff retention, productivity, culture amplification and customer experience through their employees’ use of the platform. John holds an MBA and a Masters in Engineering Science in Nuclear Fusion Research at University College Cork

Barbara Booras

Senior Customer Community Manager, Workvivo

Barbara Booras is a Customer Community Manager at Workvivo. Specializing in Expert Services within Customer Experience, Barbara collaborates with key strategic customers with a global audience on optimizing their Workvivo experience. She spent 6+ years in New York City leading internal communications and transforming company culture at DIVINA in her role as the first Culture & Community Manager. Barbara is a self-described workplace culture nerd, obsessed with elevating the employee experience.

Now based in Boston, Barbara enjoys freelance food writing, boxing, distance running, and world travel. Barbara is a 4x marathoner currently working on completing the Abbott World Marathon Majors. Barbara has an educational background in hospitality and tourism and approaches EX with a high-touch, hospitality mindset.

Stephanie Roberts

Chief Communications Officer, Hitachi

As Chief Communications Officer at Hitachi, Stephanie Roberts is responsible for the company’s internal and external comms strategy. She serves on the senior executive committee, leading a global team across internal and external communications, media relations, branding, crisis communications, social media, the company website, events and more.  

Nearly three years ago, Stephanie moved to Tokyo as the first expat ever sent to Hitachi HQ. She also works with teams across the Americas, China, Southeast Asia, EMEA and Australia and, driven by her passion for storytelling and exploring different cultures, has traveled to more than 30 countries.

Chris is the Vice President of Employee Communication and Experience at Gallagher, a global internal communication agency. An expert in building market-leading brands, he advises organizations of all sizes and across all industries on the best ways to create memorable experiences for their employees — increasing appreciation for the ways that they are being supported and connecting them to their employer's purpose and values.

Within Gallagher, Chris’s mission is to build a national employee experience and communications practice in Canada. He is a regular speaker on all things internal communication at industry events, including the Strategic Internal Communication Conference and global IABC webinars.

Retail Leadership Expert & Author

Kit Campoy is a leadership coach, author and public speaker passionate about shaping a world where frontline workers are valued and empowered, inspiring them to do their best work.  

Kit is the author of The Retail Leader's Field Guide: How to Run a Kick-Ass Store Where Everyone Wants to Work, and the founder of the newsletter, The Voice of the Frontline.

With over 20 years of experience leading retail teams, she has a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.

Eddie MacSweeney

Communications and Engagement Consultant, Workvivo

Before joining Workvivo as Communications and Engagement Consultant, Eddie MacSweeney served as Former Captain of the Irish Defence Forces.

He was later appointed as the IDF’s Internal Communications Officer, where he was tasked with revolutionizing the delivery of vital information from the strategic to the tactical levels of leadership across the Army, Air Corps and Naval services.

Eddie used this position to foster a new digital communication culture both at home and to troops stationed overseas. Now, he brings that expertise and experience to Workvivo customers.

Jo Hudson is the Group Director of Internal Communications at Bupa, where she leads strategic communication initiatives across the organization. With over 15 years of experience in corporate communications, Jo has a proven track record in both global superbrands and multinational environments. Her expertise lies in aligning internal communication strategies with business objectives to enhance employee engagement and organizational performance.

In addition to her role at Bupa, Jo serves as the Vice Chair at the MS Trust, demonstrating her commitment to health and well-being beyond her corporate responsibilities.
